Clavé Le Goëland

04/30/2008. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "Original design motor glider (wingspan 49 ft 2.5 in, 15 m) with an all composite construction and powered by one 24 hp JPX PUL425 two-stroke engine. The aircraft was a design of Robert Clavé and it made the first flight in October 1987. It featured detachable wings for easier road transport and hangar storage.

Further development of the type was in the (French rules) ultralight category so only the prototype carried a registration."
