Johan Visschedijk: "Based on Howard's pre-war DGA (Damn Good Airplane), the GH utility transport and NH instrument trainer series were produced in quantity for USN use from 1941 onwards. Minor differences distinguished the four models, each powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior engine; they comprised:
