Roy-Mignet GR

04/15/2018. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "The GR was designed and constructed by Guy Roy of Chattellerault, France. The side-by-side two-seat homebuilt aircraft employed the Mignet tandem-wing principle with elevators on the rear wing and had a conventional vertical tail with rudder. Power plant was a 90 hp Continental C90-8F engine. With the test registration F-WSYT the aircraft was first flown on August 10, 1971, and upon receiving its CofA it was reregistered F-PSYT on February 28, 1972. The sole example was flown for the last time on August 15, 1991.

In April 1995 it was put on display at the Parc du Futuroscope, a theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques at Poitiers, France. The registration was stricken from the French register on February 18, 2010, reasoned as destroyed."
