03/31/2008. The prototype of the short haul Aerovan was fitted with two 155 hp Blackburn Cirrus Major 3 four-cylinder, air-cooled, inverted inline engines. First flown by Tommy Rose at Woodley on January 26, 1945, with the 'Class B' markings U-0248, later it was registered as G-AGOZ, while on February 1, 1946 it received its CofA. The aircraft was scrapped in November 1949.

Although the prototype carried British military markings the Aerovan never served with British military forces.
