03/31/2008. The prototype of the short haul Aerovan was fitted with two 155 hp Blackburn Cirrus Major 3 four-cylinder, air-cooled, inverted inline engines. First flown by Tommy Rose at Woodley on January 26, 1945, with the 'Class B' markings U-0248, later it was registered as G-AGOZ, while on February 1, 1946 it received its CofA. The aircraft was scrapped in November 1949. |
