07/07/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This was the prototype of a forty-seat transport, first flown December 21, 1946. The aircraft crashed while testing a new tail configuration on February 2, 1948. In spite of this the type was ordered by the USAAF in March 1948 and from 1950, 23 were delivered to the USAF as C-125 Raider under the Northrop designation N-23."
