11/30/2007. This aircraft was delivered to the USAAF, s/n 44-7369, on
May 26, 1944, to be struck off charge in June 1945. It went to Cal Aero
Technical Institute, Glendale, California, and was with The Air Museum,
in California. Rebuilt in 1971 it was registered N94500, was sold to
Canada registered as C-GTGR, to return to the USA, registered as N40PN,
still registered as such as of this day.
The aircraft is finished in the markings of the American Volunteer
Group of the Chinese Air Force. View also photo 8265.
