Pictured by the RAF photographer over a snow-covered English landscape, this Beaufighter was the first delivered to No. 250 Fighter Squadron of Coastal Command at Chivenor, Devon, on December 27, 1940. It is finished in brown-green-sky camouflage, and carrying the sky-coloured coded PN-B.
