08/22/2022. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was built by Austin Motors for the Royal Flying Corps under the serial C8740. Subsequently it was shipped to the USA in components. Assembled by Curtiss, it was serialed 94078 and served with the USAAS, still wearing the British markings. It was tested at McCook Field, Dayton, Ohio, assigned the project number "P-52". It was wrecked on August 12, 1920."
