Curtiss CW-20B-4 C-46F Commando

01/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Under the Curtiss designation CW-20B-4, this aircraft was produced in 1945 for the USAAF as a C-46F-1-CU, s/n 44-78547. It was acquired by the Chinese government on June 17, 1948, and registered to the China National Aviation Corporation as XT-54. Subsequently it was registered to Civil Air Transport (CAT) in the USA as N8405C, but still operated in Asia.

Later it was reregistered B-154 to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Taiwan, and leased CAT, and as seen here, subleased to Air America. The aircraft was returned to the CAA of Taiwan in 1972, the registration was cancelled on October 3, 1972 and it was subsequently scrapped."
