Dyn'Aero MCR-01

09/30/2010. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "MCR-01 stood for Michel Colomban and Robin No. 01, as it was a design of Michel Colomban (well-known by the Cri-Cri) and was marketed by Dyn'Aero SA, founded by Christophe Robin, son of the also well-known Pierre Robin.

The MCR-01 was in essence a composite construction development of the metal MC-100 of Michel Colomban.

MCR-01 prototype (F-PFAI) (Walter van Tilborg Collection)

The first MCR-01 (initially F-WFAI, later F-PFAI) flew in July 1996 and had an 80 hp Rotax 912A engine. The MCR-01 became very popular among amateur constructors and several variants are available.

The MCR-01 F-PJEA pictured on top of the page was built in 2000."
