12/31/2013. Remarks by Kees Kort: "These cards show the 1908 Voisin pusher biplane as designed and built by the Voisin brothers. The name of the client (Henri Farman) is on the rudder but also the name of the Voisin brothers. In those days the fliers were more prominent in the newspapers with the makers of the machine coming second. Of course in this situation the friendship between the Voisin brothers and Farman did not last long and a fierce quarrel broke out about the origin of the machine."

Châlons-sur-Marne, near Reims, is presently known as Châlons-en-Champagne.
