Grumman G-21A Goose

10/31/2012. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "C-FUAZ was originally produced for the USCG in 1940 as a G-39 JRF-2, serialed V185 it was based at CGAS Salem, Massachusetts, and it was withdrawn from use in November 1946. By 1963 it was redesignated G-21A, and registered to Gilbert A. Hensler of Churubusco, Indiana as N95400; in 1966 it went to Canada as CF-UAZ and was operated by B.C. Air Lines.

By 1971 it was in service with Trans Provincial Airlines of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and subsequently by Air BC Ltd, Vancouver. On February 3, 1986 it was registered to Jim Pattison Industries of Prince Rupert, but returned to Air BC on October 9, 1986. On April 2, 1996 it was registered to its present owner Pacific Coastal Airlines at Richmond."
