Vickers 259 Viastra Mk.X

03/19/2005. Remarks by Nico Braas: "The Viastra was intended as an airliner for twelve passengers, making its first flight on October 1, 1930. It was not a great succes, and only a few were built. On the picture we see the last of them, the Viastra X. It was specially built for the Prince of Wales. Carrying the registration G- ACCC, it was used until 1934 as a royal transport plane."
