Nico Braas has been interested in aviation since his childhood when
he started to collect documentation at 12-13 years of age by writing
to aircraft companies. Over the years, this has finally resulted in a
large aeronautical file with more than 10,000 photographs.
Nico's main interest is in aircraft prototypes, experimental types or
aircraft built in limited numbers only. He is a member of the Royal
Netherlands Aeronautical Society ' Afdeling Luchtvaartkennis'
(Aviation knowledge department) and has contributed in various
magazines with articles about unknown/obscure aircraft types over the years.
Furthermore, Nico is a fanatical glider pilot with more than a 1000
starts to his name.
