After service with North Air it appeared at the Canadian Register as CF-ZZM, it was subsequently reregistered as C-FZZM. It was written off in a crash west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on June 14, 1986."

05/31/1965. de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter turboprop STOL aircraft made its first flight May 20 from the company's Downsview, Ontario, Canada, facility. Take off roll was estimated at 150 ft (46 m). The aircraft was put through a series of stability and control tests.
The airplane is the first of 15 in the initial production batch. Maximum gross weight is 10,500 lb (4,764 kg) and empty weight is 5,787 lb (2,625 kg). Power plants are two United Aircraft of Canada Ltd., PT6-A20 engines rated at 579 shp each.
