12/22/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was delivered to Santa Maria Air Lines of Los Angeles, California, USA, on December 22, 1936 registered NC17309. In the summer of 1940, it was sold to the Canadian Department of National Defence registered CF-BRW and transferred to the RCAF with s/n 7646 on August 10, 1940. The 12-A was struck off charge on December 1, 1944 and transferred to the Department of Transport. It's CofA expired in July 1961 and its fate is unknown. It is believed that it was scrapped in 1965."
