04/19/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the fifth Caravelle built and it made its first flight on May 9, 1959 registered F-BHRC. It was delivered to the French carrier Air France on May 15, 1959 and named 'Anjou'. In 1961, it was converted to a Caravelle III with more powerful engines. The Senegal Government reserved the registration 6V-ACP for this aircraft and bought it on December 28, 1971, registered it 6V-AAR and named its 'Fleche des Almadies'. In March 1985, it was withdrawn from use and was used as a ground instructional airframe at Dakar, Senegal." View also the History
