Pilatus PC-6/C-H2 Porter

Built in 1967, this was the 33rd of 92 PC-6s manufactured by Fairchild under license to Pilatus of Switzerland. On June 11, 1971 it was sold to Air America, between 1946 and 1976 the CIA owned and operated "air proprietary" against the global menace of communism. It arrived at Vientiane, Laos, on June 26 1971 and was intermittent operated in Laos, Thailand and Vietnam until April 29, 1975 when it was abandoned disassembled at Tan Son Nhut airport, Saigon, Vietnam, during the evacuation. Its fate is unknown.
