09/30/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The NethNAS ordered fifteen aircraft in two batches, on August 1, 1936 six aircraft were ordered that were delivered during the same year, serialed E-1 to E-6 (c/n 51.12 to 51.16, 51.30). On June 18, 1937 another nine aircraft were ordered that were delivered serialed E-7 to E-15 (c/n 51.53 to 51.61).

On September 20, 1938 two attrition replacements were ordered for the crashed E-1 and E-6, the replacement aircraft received the same serials and had c/n 51.124 and 51.125 respectively. All fifteen aircraft were destroyed by bombardments of NAS De Kooy, Den Helder between 10 and 14 May, 1940."

Jaap de Moor adds: "Pictured in front of the aircraft is my uncle Wout Kleppe, an aircraft mechanic with the Dutch Fleet Air Arm. Wout retired as an Aircraft Technical Officer and is 90 years of age at this date."
