Stearman C-3B

05/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced in 1929, this aircraft was originally built as an C-3B, powered by a 200 hp Wright J-5 nine-cylinder air-cooled radial engine. On October 7 of the same year it was re-engined with a Comet 7 seven-cylinder air-cooled radial and became a C-3L, registered as X6438. It is shown above as a crop duster in the 1950s.

The aircraft is still registered as of this day, although designated as a C-3B."
