11/30/2007. This aircraft was built as an HSS-1 submarine hunter, redesignated SH-34G in 1962, stripped of ASW gear it was used in the utility role designated UH-34G. It was withdrawn from use on March 12, 1971 and came on display at the Midway on May 26, 2006. |
