07/07/2007. Ordered as a PO-2W this aircraft was delivered to the USN as a WV-2 in March 1955, being redesignated EC-121K in 1962. The aircraft was pictured while visiting from NAS Point Mugu, California, USA. It was marked "Pacific Missile Range" on the tail surface. Stored at Davis Monthan AFB in May 1979, it was delivered to the Heritage Air Park Museum at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma in October 1985. It is displayed as USAF EC-121D, s/n 53-0552.
