Grumman G-128 EA-6B Prowler

07/31/2013. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The aircraft was assigned to VMAQ-2 (Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2). The squadron was formed in 1952 as VMC-2, adopting the name Widowmakers. In 1955 it was redesignated VMCJ-2 and adopted the name Playboys, and used the bunny of the magazine with the same name as a logo. While being redesignated VMAQ-2 in 1975, it retained the Playboys name and logo. In 1993 the squadron was pressed to adopt a more politically correct name, which became Panthers, changing to Death Jesters in 2000. The aircraft is presently with VMAQ-1."
