Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Seen rotating for a super short take off and steep climb-out, this demonstrator crashed the following day when at the end of the demonstration it made a banking steep approach, followed by an unintended very hard landing. With the landing gear thrusting up, the wings were snapped off, followed by a fireball and a small fire. Although the aircraft was severely damaged, the three crewmembers walked away uninjured."
