10/31/2007. This tandem two-seat primary-basic trainer was fully
aerobatic and had provisions for four pylons for external stores. It
was first flown on May 26, 1977 and deregistered on May 12, 2003. A
redesigned and turboprop powered second prototype (
NDN-1T, G-FSTS c/n 006) was entered in the
competition for a new RAF trainer, eventually won by the
Embraer/Short Tucano.
