09/30/2007. Bell's entry in US Army Advanced Attack Helicopter competition was powered by two 1,500 hp GE T700-GE-700 turboshafts and the first of two prototypes (73-22246, 73-22247) was first flown on October 1, 1975. Eventually the Hughes 77 YAH-64 was announced as winner. |
