09/30/2007. The Beta 200 used the 'Gyroflex Rotor' system, in which
weights fitted to the roots of the rotor blades provided the balance.
Developed under the guidance of William Orr, the helicopter was first
flown on May 26, 1966. It was powered by a 210 hp Continental IO-360E
engine.
