Dornier Do 28 D-2

Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced in 1978 as a standard Do 28 D-2, this aircraft was temporarily fitted with a nose radome (as shown above), displayed at the Internationale Luftfahrtausstellung (International Air Show) at Hannover, Germany, in April 1980 it was marketed as a Maritime Patrol aircraft.

Reverted to standard the aircraft was sold to the THK (Türk Havva Kuvvetleri, Turkish Air Force), coded CN-85. It came on the Turkish civil registry as"TC-FBC and subsequently was sold to Hungary.

Developed by the Hungarian engineer Andreas Gál the aircraft was modified by Aerotech Slovakia and fitted with two Walter M601-D2 turboprops and a skydivers kit. Registered as HA-VOC it is referred to as a Do 28 G-92 and is presently operated by Target Skysports at Hibaldstow, UK.
