04/14/2005. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "These Harriers were built by Hawker Siddeley as Harrier Mk.50s, they received the US designation AV-8A Harrier and served with the USMC.

McDonnell Douglas rebuilt 158394 as the first of two prototypes YAV-8B, flown in this form for the first time on November 9, 1978.
