Fokker D.VII

01/15/2019. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This replica was built in 1978 by Art Williams at Williams Flugzeugbau at Günzburg, 64 mls (103 km) north-west of Münich, Germany. Reportedly Williams Flugzeugbau was one of the first companies to build highly accurate WW I reproductions, even making quantity runs of the German lozenge fabric. It was registered to Williams as D-EAWM in June 1978, the following August 11, it was registered G-BFPL to Leisure Sport at Chertsey in the UK. It changed hands a few times, the last owner on the UK register, Franco Actis of Charmey, Switzerland, had it transferred to the Italian register as I-BFPL on July 28, 1999.

September 16, 2010, the aircraft was registered in the USA as N425VT to Training Services Inc. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, but displayed at and flown from the Military Aviation Museum at Virginia Beach. The registration was cancelled on August 13, 2013, as 'Exported to the Russian Federation'."
