Noorduyn Norseman Mk.V

04/30/2012. Remarks by Chuck Tolley: "The last Norseman built, CF-LFR is pictured tied up to a floating dock on the sea in front of the community as it was a fairly calm day and the water wasn't too rough. It had brought in passengers and freight and I was leaving the community for the summer. The plane was owned by a charter company operating out of St. Felicien, Quebec, that had a base in Fort Chimo (presently Kuujjuaq). Unfortunately, a few years later the plane went through the ice while taxiing at Port Burwell, Northwest Territories, and was not salvageable."
