09/30/2013. Remarks by Weldon Stevens: "This is aircraft number 4, carrying the two component pod. The larger, outer component carried fuel, the interior component was the bomb. When it neared the target, it dropped the outer component and then dropped the bomb on the target.

This was the second of eleven YB-58As, later converted to a TB-58A. The oldest remaining aircraft, it is presently preserved at Grissom Air Museum, Grissom Air Reserve Base (former Bunker Hill AFB/former Grissom AFB), Peru, Indiana."
