07/07/2007. This type was designed during 1928 as a mail and cargo airplane, the first flight took place on December 29, 1928. By May 8, 1929 all 25 aircraft produced were delivered, 20 of them went to Boeing Air Transport System.

The pictured aircraft was delivered to National Air Transport. On April 26, 1930, it was damaged in a crash near Clearfield, Pennsylvania. By 1936 it had become surplus and was one of four models 95 taken on charge by the Honduras AF as a light bomber. Delivered on July 22, 1936, it received the s/n 4.
