05/25/2003. Remarks by Dan Shumaker: "This replica was manufactured by Scott E. Crosby in 1994. On May 23, 1997, N11044 crashed few miles short of runway while approaching Watsonville airport for the airshow. Luckly the pilot was able to walk away from the crash."
