Dessenis AD-1 L'Espérance

07/31/2019. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Derived from the Mignet HM-8, this was the Dessenis AD-1 L'Espérance, powered by a 45 hp Salmson 9Ad radial. It was built by Albert Dessenis in 1935, and the next year Dessenis won the Tour de France with the L'Espérance. The L'Espérance was based at Valenciennes and was destroyed by the Germans during WW II.

The logo on the tail was from the squadron in which Dessenis flew during WW II."
