Bowman: "My grandfather, Lt. Henry Gilbert Harrington, was a pilot and
flight instructor in the Army Signal Corps (renamed Army Air Service on May 24, 1918)
from October 1917 to July 1919. He is the second man in the flight coat on the
right-hand side of the photo. Comparison of this photo with my grandfather's
collection suggests the location is Langley Field, Virginia, USA, where he was stationed
from September 1918 to July 1919."
