02/28/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Ordered as a PO-2W Warning Star, it was redesignated WV-2 before delivery to the USN, while it was redesignated EC-121K in 1962 and soon thereafter to NC-121K. It was withdrawn from use on May 15, 1973, and scrapped on May 28, 1976."
