02/28/2014. Remarks by Ed Coates: "Shortly after the photo was taken, the aircraft was used by Tourist Air Travel for sightseeing trips over Perth and surrounding area. Later it was used to transport fisherman to the coastal islands. In March 1972 it was sold to Sydney real estate developer Hockey Treloar. It was deleted from the register on July 28, 1975 following an accident on Lake Jindabine, New South Wales. Whilst taxiing for take off the starboard float submerged and the aircraft overturned and sank. Fortunately the occupants were rescued by a passing helicopter."
