Fokker F.28-1006 Fellowship

04/30/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft made its first flight on June 30, 1969 registered PH-ZAH. It was delivered to the Norwegian carrier Braathen's S.A.F.E. (South American and Far East Air Transport A/S) on June 29, 1969 registered LN-SUO and leased back to Fokker Services on August 12, 1969 registered PH-EXA. Fokker sub-leased it to the Australian airline MacRobertson Miller Airline Services from August 14, 1969 to June 19, 1970 registered VH-MMJ and it was returned to Braathens SAFE as LN-SUO and named "Magnus Barfot".

It was sold to the Canadian airline Quebecair in December 1986 and registered C-GQBS. Quebecair was taken-over by PWA Corp and merged November 1987 into Inter-Canadian Airline and the aircraft was leased to the French carrier TAT (Transport Aérien Transrégional) in June 1989. In December 1989, it was sold to a French leasing company, reregistered
F-GIAI and immediately leased back to TAT.

This F-28 was sub-leased to Stellair Transports Aériens of Nantes, France, on January 1, 1992, but the company went bankrupt and TAT repossessed it in December of that year. TAT next leased the aircraft to the Macedonia carrier Palair Macedonian from January to October 1993 and then placed it in storage at Dinard, France, and was broken up by December 1997."
