Photographed at the Museum of Yugoslav Aviation, Surcin Airport, Belgrade, Serbia, by Misko Ruvidic
09/30/2005. Remarks by
Misko
Ruvidic: "This is the first ever built Serbian aircraft in
1909, much like the Blériot XI. The engine with five cyclinders was
built by Mr.Saric himself. The first flight was in May 1910. After
several successfull flights Mr.Saric found for his plane a new
engine, the Anzani five cyclinder powerplant. After almost 60 years,
at an age of eighty-six, Mr.Saric participated in the reconstruction
of his aircraft for the Museum."
