Lockheed 049-46-10 C-69 Constellation

11/30/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Delivered in June 1945 as a C-69-1-LO (s/n 42-94549), the aircraft served only nine months with the USAAF, thereafter it was operated/owned as N90831 by twelve different companies (including TWA), before it was traded to the Air Force Museum in September 1970 for a Grumman Albatross.

It has been on loan to the Pima museum since April 1971. The sole surviving C-69 was finished in the TWA colours in February 1980 after a restoration that was started in 1977."
