05/15/2007. Ordered by the RAF in 1941 it was delivered with the s/n AL557 in 1942 as a transport and was later registered as G-AGZI with BOAC. After the war it was registered to Scottish Aviation and was sold in February 1948 to the Greece carrier Hellenic Airways registered as SX-DAA and named 'Maid of Athens'.

In 1951 it was sold to the USA and registered as N9981F to the Morrison-Knudson Construction Co., later re-registered to N68735 and N92MK; it crashed landed in Alaska in 1958 and was abandoned. Many years later it has been recovered and stored for eventual restoration.
