07/31/2023. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built for the USAF under the serial 53-7697, this aircraft was one of 108 RF-84Fs that were transferred to the West German AF from 1957 on. It was initial serialed BD-113, then reserialed to BD-119, and then to EA-113, while in service with AKG-51 (Aufklarung Geschwader 51, Reconnaissance Squadron 51) at Ingolstadt. However, the aircraft was short-lived, as it was lost in a crash on August 3, 1959."
