Vought O2U-2 Corsair

01/31/2009. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was one of six O2U-2s purchased by the USCG. At least four of them were stationed at San Antonio, Texas with the USCG Air Patrol to interdict illegal aliens entering the US.

Initially assigned serial number 303, the USCG adopted a new serial number system on October 13, 1936. The new serial numbers consisted of the letter "V" followed by a three digit number and this aircraft became V119. The "19" indicated that this was the 19th aircraft acquired by the USCG. This aircraft was surveyed (disposed of) in April 1937."
