01/31/2010. Resembling the Focke-Wulf S 24 Kiebitz of 1928, Michael Platzer of Germany designed this tandem two-seat ultralight, and the first was flown in 1984. Since a number of variants have been constructed, mainly differing in type of powerplant, ranging from 55 to 80 hp. The pictured Kiebitz was constructed by Dieter Sedlbower and was registered on April 11, 2002.
