09/30/2009. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Howard Hughes Engineering Pty. Ltd. of Ballina, New South Wales, Australia, has produced this aircraft since the mid-1980s. Designed by C.W. Whitney, it was claimed as the first conventional aeroplane-configured two-seat ultralight designed and flown in Australia. Presently it is marketed and produced by the Australian LightWing branch of the Hughes Group, as the GR-912, while a nose wheel version is designated Sport 2000."
