04/30/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "As indicated by the "40th" at the wheel spats, this aircraft was flown over forty years ago, to be exact: July 9, 1966. Design of this two-seat homebuilt started in 1963 by Robert Bushby based on the single-seat Midget Mustang. The prototype Mustang II was first flown on July 9, 1966, it is still registered N1117M as of this day."
