12/31/2023. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Under the serial 42-93178, this aircraft was delivered to the USAAF as a C-47A on April 19, 1944, less than two years later, March 13, 1946 it was struck off charge.

October 31, 1946, it came on the US civil register as NC59699, owned by the National Skyways Freight Corporation, operating as the Flying Tigers. The firm was renamed The Flying Tiger Line Incorporation in February 1947.

On April 27, 1948, this aircraft came on the register of India as VT-CTZ. First Indian owner was Indian Overseas Airlines, which named it Star of Bangalore. Subsequent owners were Metcaero Engineers (May 24, 1951), Directorate of Civil Aviation (April 19, 1952), Bharat Airways (June 26, 1952), and Indian Airlines (August 1, 1953). The registration was cancelled after 1957, the aircraft was scrapped."
