Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The pictured aircraft was built in 1943 as a Fairchild M-62A and under the designation PT-19B-FA (serialed 42-83297) it was delivered to the USAAF; it was withdrawn from service on October 26, 1944. In the early 1960s it was converted to a WM-62C agplane. Above it is seen taking off from Patterson Field, this additional photo shows the aircraft at the Weatherly plant in Hollister. The registration was cancelled July 30, 2013."
