Technoavia Rysachok

03/31/2013. Remarks by Loet Kuipers: "The Rysachok (Racehorse) is a light two-engined multi-purpose aircraft. It is intended not only for training and passenger transport but also for landing operations, air medical services and agricultural aviation. A number of agencies and companies have already shown their interest in the aircraft.

The prototype is powered with two 750 h.p. Walter M601F turboprop engines. It is able to carry up to nine passengers or 3,307 lb (1,500 k) of cargo. The production aircraft will be equipped with two 800 hp Honeywell H-80 turboprops.

The first test flight of the Rysachok was performed on December 3, 2010. The aircraft is produced by TsKB-Progress (manufacture) and NKF Tekhnoavia (designer), and five aircraft are flying now. Certification flying started at Samara on January 28, 2013 (all five prototypes will participate), and is expected to be finished in the summer of 2014."
